| We will meet in Putney at Church Square, next to St Mary's Church, and set off along the Thames Path route. The walk is approximately 10 miles long.
Beginning near the starting point of the famous Oxford and Cambridge boat race, we continue along the Putney Embankment. Further down the river takes us past Fulham football club. Beyond Beverley Brook the path takes a more rural feel and the concrete paths soon turn into wet and muddy walk ways.
Our well deserved break takes place at around 1.30pm.
After lunch, we turn off the Thames Path cutting through Richmond Common and finishing in Wimbledon Village where we usually celebrate with a few beers!
